EL PESCADERO
Pescadero and surrounding areas are considered RURAL Mexico. We appreciate that our guests to have this understanding before arrival, which helps manage expectations. Infrastructure and certain amenities are still developing in many ways. Electricity is fairly new to this area (within the last 3 years), so there are times of power outages, albeit rare. Water pressure is not what you get in the US or Western Europe. Most roads off the main highway are dirt and do not have street names, and houses do not have addresses. You must rely on the maps provided and do a little research of your own ;) Baja midnight is considered 9:00pm, and you should expect many businesses to close at this time. We are in the desert and no matter where you stay, the native fauna do make some cameos ;) We attempt to mitigate this as much as possible, but please do not be surprised if you see the occasional critter inside the house. We recommend trip insurance as unfortunately we cannot refund for weather or rural Mexico related incidents.
