El Pescadero offers a unique experience of rural Mexico. As a guest, your understanding of its rustic charm is greatly appreciated. While the area has seen significant development in recent years, there may still be occasional power outages as electricity was only introduced here in the past three years. Water pressure might not be as strong as what you may be accustomed to. Off the main highway, roads are unpaved and lack street names, and houses do not have addresses. We provide maps to assist your navigation and we encourage a bit of personal research. Local businesses typically close by 9:00 PM, known here as 'Baja midnight'. Lastly, we share this beautiful desert with its native fauna, so it's possible you might encounter a critter or two during your stay. We recommend considering trip insurance as unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for weather-related incidents or challenges that come with rural Mexico.
